Liverpool FC's Alex Raisbeck features on this card from Ogden's General Interest Series. Often dated as c1902 it is more likely this series was issued in 1901 due to Charlie Athersmith being listing as Aston Villa and Hugh McQueen as Derby County whereas both players left for Small Heath and QPR respectively in 1901.
Alex Raisbeck became Liverpool captain at the age of 21 and led them to their first league title in 1901 and again in 1905. A Scottish International 9 times Raisbeck is arguably Liverpool's first true Hall of Famer.
